Happy New Year Family: We are launching our 2023 campaign to raise funds to continue our mission of providing support to children, schools, and teams. Our support to children entails operating summer camps, clinics, and year-round programs. In addition, Champions has positioned itself to provide opportunities for our participants to play in regional tournaments where they have been scouted for soccer scholarships to attend high schools - resulting in participants gaining access to better education and athletic opportunities. Historically, the children we serve would not pursue a high school education. However, our effort and continued support have led to a significant increase in high school attendance. In addition, we are committed to serving communities by targeting and assisting schools in need of support through formal program development assistance, provision of equipment, annual soccer camps, player development, and international soccer tournament exposure. We also provide equipment and gear for players of select teams. For example, in the past, we have provided resources to the Jamaica women’s national team. Review of our work shows that our participants have seen instant results as well as long-term intervention effects. We hope you will sponsor a child at US$30.00 per child as we strive to reach our goal of $15,000. We thank you in advance for making 2023 bigger and brighter for our youths. ![]() Dear Champions Family, For over 14 years, Champion’s mission has been dedicated to ensuring that our community’s youth have greater access to quality programs and services that help promote healthy lifestyles, academic success, and exercising good stewardship in a safe and supportive environment. Our accomplishments we are proud of include our ‘One Ball, One Love’ Campaign where we were able to donate 1000 soccer balls, 200 pairs of new cleats, 600 pairs of gently used cleats, new goalkeeper gloves, new uniforms, and water bottles to schools and athletic programs in Kingston, Jamaica. We have also continued to conduct annual soccer camps for over 100 kids in the Payneland community of Jamaica. Champions is forever grateful for the support for those of you that joined our family this year and for the ongoing support of those who have continued to be a part of our family. Your contribution allowed us to reach even more kids this year as we made it a point not to turn away any child seeking participation. Here at Champions, we cannot thank you enough. You have made a real difference in the lives of the youth and the communities we serve. Our supporters are the reason we can make a lasting positive impression on these youth. This opportunity continues to give the children of Payneland confidence and a brighter hope for tomorrow. He continues his expertise at track and field by training current Olympians and elite athletes on their path to greatness. We are honored to have him showcase his talents at our last two clinics for the summer on August 20th and 27th. This is a rare occasion to get training and tips from one of the leading experts in track and field. You definitely do not want to miss this! See you there.
WOW! What a wonderful clinic at Cliftondale Park on Saturday June 4th. We would like to thank all the participants and their families for joining us for this great opportunity to learn some fundamentals of soccer and have FUN. We also want to thank or corporate sponsors, event staff, and the Olympic Development Program 2009 boys team (event ambassadors) for supporting us in providing a great time for all in attendance. We witnessed some special talent out there in this group of participants and look forward to working with them in the fall season in the year round soccer program at Cliftondale Park Soccer fields. If you did not make this clinic, there are others still available for registration for the month of June. We have also begin enrolling athletes for the Fall season starting September 2022. Below are a few videos from the 6/4 clinic. We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our donors and corporate sponsors that helped us gather equipment to fill three JUMBO barrels and two JUMBO boxes to ship to Kingston Jamaica. The items included, new and gently used cleats, water bottles, gloves, and soccer balls. The youth in our soccer program in Jamaica will be receiving these items very soon. We are looking forward to sharing the photos of the kids enjoying the items you all helped in getting for them. Thank you again for supporting us in our efforts to provide a soccer experience to as many children as possible through our year round soccer program.
